Our toddler area for children ages one and two will have an approximate number of 7 rooms. The rooms will be divided according to age and development. We have set aside 6 of the 7 rooms for potty training. One of these rooms will still have cribs for the toddlers not quite ready for nap mats. The one-year-old rooms will have 13 toddlers and two staff. The two-year-old rooms will have 4 rooms with nine toddlers and one staff.

The toddler will be introduced to state of the art centers for dramatic play, blocks and manipulatives. An area on the infant and toddler play ground will also have a sand and water table that will aid in the development of touch and sensory. The toddlers will also be exposed to learning through music and movement. This will be the first introduction to the health and wellness aspect of the curriculum.

Staying consistent with our infant child development program, we will also provide daily communication sheets to toddler's families. This will aid in communication between center staff and families to provide the best care possible for the children.

It is just as important to provide a clean safe environment for all children in the center so daily cleaning schedules will adhered to as well as the disinfecting of all common items. This will be a practice used for all age groups. Part of health and wellness is a clean inviting environment.
